Diesel injector nozzles are subjected to highly stressful conditions like huge pressure differentials, thermal cycling, and exposure to combustion byproducts. The consequence of this stress is that diesel nozzles are usually clogged and in need of professional cleaning to restore the spray pattern. Modern diesel nozzles have 5-8 micro-holes, all of which are smaller than the diameter of a human hair. If they get clogged up, the fuel can no longer be properly atomized and just drips out of the nozzle. This is an indication that it’s time to bring your nozzles in for an ultrasonic cleaning.

The calibrated pump is reassembled with new Bosch seals, torqued to factory specifications, and prepared for installation.
